Wow - Long Time! Happy Halloween!

Not sure why - but decided TODAY was going to be the day to update my blog - now hopefully the fall will hold off and not snow anytime too soon - so I can keep this look for a bit - isn't it CUTE?!

I'm no longer posting my P365 Layouts - well maybe I will on here too - but they are on my facebook page. Maybe I'll post them on here - we'll see how it goes!

But I thought I'd like a place to put out some thoughts, pics, ideas, whatever - sometimes Facebook just isnt the place!

So I have no idea who reads this - if anyone - ha ha! But wanted to share the kids' Halloween cards that I made! I think they turned out cute (but I'm pretty biased - cute kids, cute kits - what more could I ask for?!)

The kids are passing out treats in their classrooms and I printed 4 of these per 4x6 print and cut them apart and stuck them in snack size baggie with their goodies. Who knows if anyone will even look at them - I mean come on - there is CANDY in there! ;) But oh well - they're cute nontheless!

Plus after a few days of a sick hubby and kid (and dog for that matter) - I needed something to cheer me up! Here's to hoping no one else throws up my in house for a LONG time!

Alright - E is napping I best go jump in the shower before I have to go pick up Bug!

Finally getting around to posting the last of May's photos - here they are - with the final LOs to come - but might not be till tomorrow! LOL - I'm getting sleepy! I did get caught up through June 7th - TODAY! :) THose will maybe get posted tomorrow too :)

Day 148 (photo 1): Of course the first night camping we just had to make S'Mores! YUMM!

Day 135: Look at that form! He's quite the little slugger! :)

Day 135 (photo 2): The kids' new favorite game - T-Ball! :) I love watching them play!! It's amazing how well they understand the game already!! Too bad we couldn't get Trev on a t-ball team this summer - def next summer!!

Day 136: We had a great visit with the Stenslands this weekend!! I wish we lived closer - the kids all had a good time together - once Jacob got used to Kaylee's "in your face" style! LOL :)

Day 137: ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY!! WHOOO HOOO! We've been having a LOT of fun playing outside! Drawing with chalk, painting with water, playing t-ball.....

Day 138: Had a fun day with Alexandra Paff today!

Day 139 (photo 1): A nice sunny day for our bike ride! Look closely - I'm pretty sure this is my first belly shot! LOL!

Day 139 (photo 2): Getting close to the end - moving shot of the GPS - my toy to play with when we ride!

Day 139 (photo 3): Our final numbers for our bike ride: 33.8mi, avg speed 18.6mph, ride time 1:46 (that includes one pee stop - LOL!)

Day 140 (photo 1): Got to visit Andrew Paff today - soo cute! :)

Day 140 (photo 1): Kaylee had to get in on the action too! The kids both LOVE babies!!

Day 141: Got the rest of my black dirt today for our mini garden! Grandma Ann & Kaylee started the planting by planting Trevor's two bean plants from the library.

Day 142 (photo 1): I thought I did a pretty good job on the cake for today!! The grey isn't the smoothest, and the white line across the red circle isnt centered the best....but overall I think it looks pretty good! :) (BTW it's Ratchet the transformer (animated version) - made with the Wilton "Van" Pan (I had to cut the cake to shape it more like ratchet and free hand the colors)

Day 142 (photo 2): The Zenner crew (plus two) - at Trev's birthday party! I was so glad they could all make it! :)

Day 143: Our first corn on the cob for the summer - both the kids love it - almost as much as I do!! :) Was a little nervous about the early batch - but boy did it taste good!!

Day 144 (photo 1): We had a party at the park for Trevor's classmates to celebrate his 5th birthday. I'd say overall the kids had a great time - even if it was 90* out! Here are a few of the boys who came: Caleb, Dylan, Trevor, Vincent & Connor.

Day 144 (photo 2): Had cupcakes out at Grandma Ann's & Grandpa Trent's house for supper!

Day 145: Kaylee's new favorite cereal - Grape-nuts! LOL! For some odd reason in the middle of eating cereal, she decided she had to go get her goggles - she asked if she looked cute! Hee hee. Not the best quality picture...but funny anyways :)

Day 146: Trevor got to go shopping today to spend some of his birthday money - surprise, surprise, he chose some more transformers!

Day 147: Trevor got to have Caleb Egle over for the afternoon today - as a way to have a "special day" since Kaylee is in Minnesota with Grandma & Aunty Kassy. These boys were sooo silly together - it's great to see how well they can play together! Here they are eating ice cream together and Caleb asks "Trevor you're going to always be my friend, right?" It was just too cute!

May's Week 1-2 LOs

Ok - here are the first two weeks of May's photos! :) Nothing like piling them in! ;) Guess this means my "news" is really out now! ;)

Day 121: Happy 5th Birthday Savannah! :) It isn't her birthday yet (not till the 13th - good day! :) hee hee) - but they had her birthday party today since they'll be in FL over her birthday week.

Day 122: On Tom's last day of Turkey Hunting he finally was able to get his turkey - thanks to the help of his Dad and Uncle Tim.

Day 123: Kaylee had a rough night last night - and was still not feeling well today - a little fever :( I could tell she was out of sorts when she fell asleep on the couch while I was reading Trevor his books before rest!

Day 124: We headed to MN today to get ready for our garage sale! Kassy was babysitting Austin when we arrived - so the kids got to play with him again - it's fun to see them all together!

Day 125: "My very own ROOT BEER!" said Kaylee about a million times when they were allowed to get a root beer (for the first time ever - to get their own, w/o sharing) at a drive-through A&W.

Day 126: Thursdays = Survivor! Need I say more? LOL! I think Trevor's just about as addicted as his Dad!!

Day 127: We got to hang out with the Martfelds' for the evening! The kids LOVE seeing them! Wish we could see them more often!! :(

Day 128: We had a Mother's Day dinner at Mom & Dad's tonight - with the Chelberg's. Since Great Grandma & Great Grandpa would be in Bellingham for the kids' birthday parties - they decided to give them their gifts early - and they loved them!!

Day 129: Happy Mother's Day!! Here are the two reasons I get to celebrate this year! :)

Day 130: SAY CHEESE!! Kaylee MIGHT take after her Mom a BIT when it comes to cameras!! ;)

Day 131: Had my 1st OB appt with my Dr today - and they were able to find the heart beat again! Always a good sign - especially after last time. Having some ovary pain - so going in for an US tomorrow.

Day 132: Baby is growing and moving like CRAZY! Measuring right on - 13wks & 2 days - EDD of Nov 15th :) Still no definite reason for ovary pain - its swollen and close to the uterus....but other than that looks normal....

Day 133: Happy Birthday to Me!!! :) Today we celebrated my 28th birthday by going out for Mexican.

Day 134: Today the Stensland's arrived for their weekend visit! We're sooo excited to have them here! Kaylee was LOVING on Jacob! Poor little guy! :) (waiting on photo from Sarah - she took a super cute one of them...)

Day 112: Check out all the hair on the caterpillars! :) A project Grandma Hoppe started while I was "working"

Day 113: Storytime at the library - this photo was actually taken after story time - I should have taken one about 2 min before this - these kids were having such a great time running around in the conference room! Too bad its the last one of the year :( This will be missed this summer!

Day 114: Headed to Wausau today to get our Tandem fixed (and it only cost $42 YEAH!) Met Uncle John there and bummed around. Here we're having lunch at Fazzoli's

Day 115: The Firemen's Breakfast was in Stetsonville today - so we headed down after Mass and went to breakfast - YUM! The pancakes were delicious! The kids really liked checking out all the fire trucks!

Day 116: Had a playgroup at the Daniels' house today! The kids enjoyed riding their bikes around the block and playing outside!

Day 117: Thought it would be a good day to try to get the kids' pics taken - but they were both sooo goofy!

Day 118: Granda Trent has a magic way of harvesting M&M's from behind the kids' ears! I wonder how long he'll get away with this!! :)

Day 119: Today I let Trevor skip school - and we headed to the Eau Claire Children's Museum with Mom's & Munchkins. We've never been there and the kids sure had a good time!! Wish I wouldnt have forgotten my camera - good thing I had my cell phone!!

Day 120: Almost 2 years after getting her ears pierced - Kaylee had to get new earings today :( We lost one of her purple ones somewhere - so now we went to pink - I dont like them nearly as much as the purple ones - but they didnt have purple or ladybugs (like Kaylee wanted - LOL) so I guess pink it is :)

Wow - this goes much faster when they are already all uploaded :) I did all the cropping, saving & uploading last night - so when I "lost" my computer again for the day - I could do this part on Tom's computer :) So this is officially my 5th post for the day :) LOL - this might be it for now - I have to finish the 4th week of photos - and scrap the 3rd week!

Day 105: Happy 3rd Birthday Alexandra! We helped her celebrate by having cake at her house.

Day 106: We went to supper at the Korner Bar - where they have FABULOUS bacon cheeseburgers and fries - for reasonable prices!! We went with Grandma Ann, Grandpa Trent, Aunt Kate & Uncle Tim

Day 109: We've been spending some time out at the lake working on the Scamp - Trevor loves to play in Grandpa's dirt pile - not exactly sure what he was doing here - but he looks cute :)

Day 110: While Mom was doing some cleaning in the kids room and putting away clothes - Kaylee decides its time to paint - she chose blue "because you like blue mom" She' so sweet. When she was done I asked her what she was painting - and she said "angels, blue angels mom" It was cute :)

Day 111: Tried to bike with the road-bike crew this week - but our tandem was not up to par :( UGH! Turns out the gasket was shot and we needed a new one.

Ok - here's the 2nd week of April - ENJOY :)

Day 98: Trevor & Grandma Hoppe cuddling in bed before its time to call it a night!

Day 99: We headed to Rosholt to visit Paula & Aaron - after we put the kids to bed we played "Monopoly Deal" a new card game - I wasnt a huge fan (I just dont care for monopoly - but it is better than the 'real' game!) - even after kicking everyones butt - TWICE! :)

Day 100 (WOW!!!): The kids love it when we visit Paula-walla & Aaron!!

Day 101: Happy Birthday Aaron!!! :) Since Tom and Aaron have birthdays so close - we got an ice cream cake for them - on Aaron's birthday - before we left town!

Day 102: Happy 29th Birthday Tom!! We celebrated with a cake made by the kids - out at Tom's parents house!

Day 103: A little post-bath snuggling with Bailey :)

Day 104: Even though the weather was iffy - Tom and I got out for a little ride around town - about 23 miles.

Day 91: What a great way to start April! It was a beautiful day - so we had a picnic for lunch over at the Brady's house!

Day 92: Tom had a half day off of work - so we headed to MN after he got off - when we got there Aunty Kassy treated the kids to DQ! The sure liked that!!

Day 93: Waiting ever so patiently for the egg-hunt to start for the "Hoppe Easter" get together!

Day 94: HAPPY EASTER!! Here are the kids posing by Great Grandma's Bunny Cakes!

Day 95: Kaylee stayed in MN with Grandma - so Trevor & Mom had a day to themselves before he had to go back to school and she went to work!

Day 96: My new home away from home - for the next 9 school days! :) A Kindergarten room with 15 students!

Day 97: Kaylee & Grandma Hoppe came to WI tonight after work - wouldn't you think she'd want to spend time with Mom after being away for a few days - OH NO! It was STILL all about Grandma!

Here are the last of the March Photos - I'm keeping up - just not doing very well posting the individual photos - that seems to take up the most time - not sure if its worth it or not - do you like seeing all the individual photos?!? Can I just do that on FB - or does anyone see them here - not getting any comments lately - so I think I'm just out here talking to myself :) LOL

Anyways - here we go again! :)

Day 81: It was a beautiful spring day - so seemed like a great day to put up our new "big kid swing" (time to take down one of the baby swings - I was getting sick of lifting them into and out of the swings!) Kaylee LOVED having her own swing!

Day 82 (photo 3): I was way bummed when i pulled this one of the camera and noticed it was blurry - but its way cute and had to include it anyways!!

Day 83: Poor Kaylee Bug! She's had a fever the past two days - and I decided it was time to bring her into the DR and see what was going on - DOUBLE ear infection :( Poor girl! Bad mom - should have brought her in earlier I guess! She was so wiped - she fell asleep in the Burley on the way home!

Day 84: Happy Thursday! Thursday's are the days that generally Grandma Ann & Grandpa Trent take the kids to High View - today Tom and I joined them. Terry likes to give the kids their orange juice in shot glasses! LOL

Day 85: The Easter Bunny made an appearance at the library today! The kids both loved it - Kaylee even volunteered (AKA skipped in line! LOL) to sit on the bunny's lap! Which is a HUGE step over Santa!

Day 86: The Martfeld's came over for a LONG weekend to play! :) We're soo excited to have them here! Here are the 4 kiddos on the wheeler at the sap shack - too bad the weather was so crummy!

Day 87 (photo 1): Another thing we spent a BIT of time doing this weekend was play "New Supar Mario Bros" for Wii - the kids really liked watching us play! THANKS MARTFELDS!! :)

Day 88 (photo 1): It was a much needed evening of cleaning the basement/toy area!! Trevor really enjoys having the Geo-Trax at our house!! Thanks Grandma Hoppe! :)

Day 89: Trevor woke up with a red and gunky eye (see his LEFT one?!?!) This was taken later in the day - but sitll looked not the best! He had a day off of school - while we determined it was NOT pink eye - just part of his cold!

Day 90 (photo 1): It was such a beautiful night (and frankly mom was feeling a BIT lazy! LOL) that while Dad went to teach Rel. Ed - the kids and I swung through McD's and had a picnic at the park! The kids werent complaining one bit! :)

Day 77: After Trevor & Savannah got done wiht pre-School we headed to Wausau for the afternoon - of course that meant stopping at McDonald's for lunch!

Day 78: Kaylee being a goof-ball!

Day 78 (photo 2): "Big" Trevor & Christi came to visit for the weekend!! Of course Trev had to stay awake until they got there - even if that was at 10 o'clock and he didnt nap all week!! He showed off to them by reading a few Transformer books before heading off to bed!

Day 79 (photo 1): Even though the weather was a bit chilly (and there was a BIT of mud on the trails) we took the wheelers over to the sap shack! It was a nice ride - but Trevor decided he was going to ride with "Big Trevor" and Christ - instead of Mom & Dad! :( LOL

Day 80 (photo 1): After supper we headed out on a walk to get a bit of exercise - and where do you think the kids wanted to walk to? Of course - THE BIG RED ROCK! :)

Day 80 (photo 2): Family photo on the big red rock - one kid is sticking out her tongue the other one is hanging his mouth wide open....what more could a mom ask for??! ;)

Day 67: Happy Birthday Aunty Kassy!! We miss you and we hope you're having fun in Colorado!!

Day 68: Today after Trevor got done w/ school we went to the Smola's to play! The kids got to ride their bikes in their new shop - and had tons of fun doing so! Here is Trevor & Tucyr!

Day 69: Trevor was sooooo excited that Grandma Hoppe was at his house - he was using her as a jungle gym!

Day 70 (photo 1): I got up early today to get ready to go sub at the Elementary School - and I also made some home-made cinnamon rolls - they sure look tasty! Too bad I put them in the oven as I was leaving - and I didn't get to enjoy any! :)

Wow we've made it to March already (and we're a week in at that!)

Day 60: Nothing like a little backyard sliding! Since it was so nice out, Dad cleared a path down to Grandpa’s office for Trevor to sled down after supper!

Day 61: Happy Birthday Dr. Seues! Dad helped out at the library again this year for Dr. Seues’ birthday - he helped Paula Liske read a porcupine story to all the kids. Here are Trevor, Savannah, Peyton & Kaylee with Tom the Porcupine!

Day 62: Mom, Trevor & Kaylee met Paula in Wausau tonight for supper and some shopping. The kids love to get together with Paula-Walla!

Day 63: Ms. Jahsman gave Trevor a special award today for knowing 12 different “B” words! She was very impressed!

Day 64: A week of Mom having a cold & now she has a very itchy rash - the rash even made her hands swell up!

Day 65: Trevor & Katie had a great time on the kitty-cat this weekend! It’s so fun when the Snyder’s come up to visit! We sure wish they lived closer!

Day 65(photo 2): Trevor, Kaylee & Katie getting ready to go sledding - I'm glad I took the picture BEFORE they went down the hill - cuz it tipped at the end and Katie didnt want anything else to do with the sled after that!

Day 65 (photo 3): We had Grandpa Trent's birthday cake after supper tonight - even tho his birthday isnt until tomorrow! Didn't he do a GREAT job blowing out his candles?

Day 65(photo 4): Trevor wanted to see Jeremy Zenner's big fish that he caught - and we tried to get a picture of him next to it - but everytime I tried to take the picture - he had to look at the fish and make sure it wasnt TOO close! Doesn't he look impressed? LOL!

Day 66: Happy Birthday Grandpa Trent! Today we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the beautiful weather! The kids rode the Kitty-Cat, the wheelers with Grandpa Trent & Uncle John and even got in a little ice fishing!

Day 53: Tom has another week off - which means more "Mario Time!" LOL! :) We've been having fun playing New Super Mario Brothers for the Wii (again - we beat it once - but now we're going back and collecting all the star coins!) How pathetic is that? LOL But its fun....

Day 54: Today was an early release day - so Trevor didnt have school! We spent the day bumming around Eau Claire - here's Trevor trying out some Hockey Gloves - he's pretty tough isn't he? LOL

Day 55: I was cleaning out Reese's cage (our guinea pig) and Tom and Kaylee thought it would be a good idea to see if Kaylee fit in the top part of the cage - and yep she did! :)

We had the Daniels' over again for lunch! :) The kids all play so well together - its fun to watch them! We had a nutritious meal of chicken nuggets, cantaloupe, oranges and french fries! :) Yumm!

Day 56: WHOO HOO! My first day subbing! It was a hectic day as I filled in for two different specialists - which meant a lot of bouncing around - but it was perfect! I got to meet a lot of different staff and get a good tour of the building! I answered phones, had recess & lunch duty, helped in the pre-k room, tutored math and helped the pre-k afternoon class get their gear on and get on the bus!

Day 57: TGIF! :) Tom joined us at the Coffee Shop this week - the kids sure got a kick out of having him there too! They decided they wanted to sit up at the high tables - so we thought we'd give it a try - of course they loved it! :)

Day 57 (photo 2): It's the kick-off of the Women's Weekend here in town!! We were joined by Mel this year - and she was soooooo fun to hang out with! We started out with a wine tasting tour of Medford - thats 19 different stops! (we only made it to 12 since we had a late start!) But we had fun touring all the different shops and of course sampling all the different kinds of wine!

Day 58: Mel, Ann & I getting all dolled up (at least our make-up) after all our classes today (especially needed after ZUMBA this morning! We also did cake-decorating and no-knead bread! Super fun classes! I was very glad that we chose those ones!

Day 58 (photo 2): One word: STUFFED! Check out all of those empty dishes! The "Taste of Medford" was DELICIOUS at the Veranda - all the area resteraunts come in and bring in samples of what they offer on their menu! YUMM! Ribs, desserts, sandwhiches, desserts, wraps, desserts, prime rib, and did I mention desserts? :)

Day 58 (photo 3): Look at how pretty the wine glass looked w/ the lights! ahhh.....

Day 58 (photo 4): Of course the first thing the kids wanted to do when we got home was sample our cakes! Here are the kids w/ the cake that I decorated! Don't look too closely at the cake - by the time the frosting was to me it was pretty warm and "foamy" so it wasnt going on the best - but it was fun anyways - and the kids sure enjoyed it! LOL! Check out Kaylee's hair - can you tell she was with Grandpa & Dad all day - I dont think its even been brushed!!

Day 59: Last day of Women's Weekend :( It's always sad to be done with our weekend off - but I look forward to being able to participate again next year! We ended our weekend with snowshoeing in the morning and a brunch at the Curling Club. No door prizes won this year :(

Day 46: Before we headed back home - we spent the morning with "The Girls" - the kids love it when we can hang out with Emilee, Ailie & Maija! We grabbed lunch at the new Italian resteraunt in town - it was pretty good!

Day 47: Since the weather was decent & sunny today I decided to tackle chipping off all the ice off of our driveway - the kids must have gotten bored with it - because soon Kaylee was asking to walk down to see Grandpa at his office - and since it was basically noon and I knew he'd probably be coming up for lunch anyways - I let them head down the trail to see him! I wonder how many more times in the next coming weeks and months they'll be doing that! Sorry Grandpa ;)

Day 48: "Happy" Ash Wednesday! Today marks the beginning of Lent, and I've decided to try to not turn on the computer in the mornings where its just Kaylee and I home - she makes it so easy to just pop in a movie, and while she watches the movie & eats breakfast - I get to scrap for an hour. I'm going to try to do more crafts/projects and stuff with her. It'll be good for both of us - but I'm sure going to miss that scrap time!

Day 48 (photo 2): After the kids' baths they were listening to their "new" book on tape - they were sharing sooo nicely and looked so cute - I just had to take a picture!

Day 49: Today was another playgroup for Kaylee while Trevor was at school - this time it was the one for Mom's & Munchkins! I just love getting together with these moms! Here Kaylee is with Addison - she loves to follow her around!

Day 49 (photos 3-4): Since it was ANOTHER beautiful winter day - I decided to go get a car wash - the van was in dire need! Trevor loved watching the bubbles and the water & Kaylee screamed and wanted to go out - try explaining to a 2 year old that you can't go out when the garage door was closed! Poor girl! The 4th photo is just a random one from inside the car wash - shows that it was 35* out! BEAUTIFUL!

Day 50: Wow! Who would have thought that I'd make it 50 days! Thats 1/7 of the way there! LOL! I might not be posting as often as I would like - but at least I'm still taking photos (that's the easy part!) Anyways - today I tried something new for cleaning out our slow drain upstairs in the bathroom - I used baking soda, vinegar & boiling water to clean it out! It was fun to watch (says the scientist in me!) and it worked like a charm! No more drain-o for me! :)

Day 51: The Anderson's came over for a visit this weekend - and it was a great weekend to have them around! The weather was beautiful all weekend! We spent a good deal of time outside - in the AM with the kids and in the PM with just us adults - as the kids napped! We had mini snow-ball fights and even got in a little snowmobile ride!

Day 52: Wow! We are really getting spoiled with all thsi nice weather! Today we took the kids, Grandma Ann & Grandpa Trent out snowshoeing! We took this picture before we began - which was a good thing - because about 3 min after - Kaylee wanted in the backpack! LOL - she did get out later and try again - but it's a lot of work for her little legs! Trevor did GREAT and actually walked quite a long ways - he got a kick out of trying to make himself (and us) fall down! I like the way Kaylee is totally not looking at the camera - she was too impressed with how quickly I could run in snowshoes! She was like "WOW Mom! You're fast!" I set the time and had to RUN to get into the snow - I'm sure it did look pretty comical!

Here are my photos for last week! :)

Day 39: Trevor is still on the Florida schedule (aka no naps) so while Kaylee tried to nap Trevor "rested" and then I got him up and figured we better get a start on making some Valentine's for his classmates. He did a GREAT job writing his name 18 times! We took a few breaks because he didnt think he could work that much :) It was funny!

Day 40: Today Andrew is 1 week old! He came early so we missed his birth - we were planning on taking his older sister for a slumber party one night while they were in the hospital - but since we missed that we owed her a slumber party! (see tomorrows photo for a pic of the new big sister!) He is such a cute baby!

Day 41: After such a great sleepover (we layed all 3 kids down in one room, said goodnight, and never had to go back in there! It was amazing!) Kaylee & Alexandra got to play all morning while Trevor was at pre-school. When we went to pick up Trevor it was time for Alexandra to go home - we hope she had fun with us!

Day 42: Today (on another no-nap day :( hopefully this doesn't mean he's done....) Trevor drew a picture of himself on the magna-doodle - I love watching him draw! Then after I complimented him on that - he drew another person - and says, "Look Mom! I drew you with me!" it was just too cute - it made me smile!

Day 43: Today we surprised Grandma & Grandpa with a visit! (Aunty Kassy knew we were coming :) hee hee) Our company that we were supposed to have cancelled on us last minute - so last minute I decided to pack up the kids and head to MN for the weekend. It was my parents 30th anniversary on the 15th, and my Grandpa's 75th birthday on the 14th - so it was a nice weekend to be home!

The photos are of Friday night after we ate supper, Kaylee wanted to dance - so Kassy went and got out some of her old dance costumes and was showing Kaylee some moves :) Kaylee loved it!

Day 44: What a great way to start the morning!! Trevor was sitting on the couch eating cereal with Grandpa Hoppe & watching "G-force" He really likes that movie lately!

Day 44(photo 2): Mom took this photo for me - but I told her to (I was talking to her on the phone - Linda & I were out bummin') Apparently Bailey wasnt quite ready for me to take off his coat (he has a coat that I put on him in the winter after he gets his hair cut - to help keep him warm) because Mom came upstairs to find him laying in the sun - in the middle of the kitchen table! LOL

Day 45: Happy Valentine's Day! Today is also my Grandpa's 75th Birthday! To help celebrate with him we went to a small birthday party at their church - cinnamon rolls, donuts & juice! YUM! Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Ok - I have everything caught up - I'm just in the process of getting everything uploaded - so bear with me :) Here is my layout for the first week in February!

Notice I changed the templates a bit - and added the extra paper behind the brown - what do you think? Is this too distracting or does it work? I'd continue with this paper for all of Feb (and go back and do a snowflake one for Jan), and use a different one everymonth....do you think that'll be ok?

Day 34: Today the "young adults" went mini-golfing! The kiddos got to hang out and do some more swimming with Grandma & Grandpa Hoppe! This was also the day that BJ & Lindsay left, and it was Jake's first "full-day" with us! Unfortunately Tom was the big winner of the day :( LOL!

Day 35: Today we went to Disney Hollywood - it was by far the busiest park day - we actually had to wait in line today for more than 10 min :( LOL! Kaylee really loved meeting all the characters - she was really getting into it. Trevor loved the Toy Story Mania game (bottom photo). We actually did that one twice - even with the wait being 50 min!

Day 36: We were thinking about going to the beach today - but decided just to have a relaxing day - and its a good thing that's what we did today! Check out the huge tornado warning all of Disney was under! Glad we werent at any of the parks today! Instead Dad & Tom played some cribbage (dang that Tom, he has all the luck!) Of course the kids did some swimming (before all the storms came through - and I think after too....LOL) Mom, Dad & I did a little shopping, and Kassy & Jake went out to dinner and to a Magic game - it was a close game - but the Magic ended up losing! We also did a bunch of cleaning, laundry & packing as we have to leave tomorrow :(

Day 37: Today is our last day in Florida, but because our plane doesnt leave until 9:50p we were still able to spend all day at Animal Kingdom!! We finished packing this morning and made it to the park about 10ish. It was another busy day - but we were able to do some of the more popular rides with the "fast pass" - even did a few of them twice! The one the kids really seemed to enjoy (and myself!) was the Safari "ride". It was a jeep like ride through Africa - with the animals free roaming - it was way cool! And after the park closed at 6 - we spent some time in the parking lot rearranging our luggage - making sure all the liquids were not in our carry-ons etc - I have to admit I'm sure we looked sort of silly!

Day 38: Welcome "Home"! It was a nice cool day for our first day back from Florida - we didnt get to bed until 2:30am! Quite the day we had yesterday! This morning Tom and I and the kids got up and went to church, then Paul, Colleen, Audrey & baby William came to Grandma & Grandpa's house to visit! The kids all play together so nice - it's fun to watch! Hard to believe I met their mom over 10 years ago! After a few hour visit with them, it was time to head back to WI where we unpacked and watched the 2nd half of the Super Bowl!

Day 29: Storytime at the Library!! You can see Kaylee's pigtails in the forground of the photo! She loves listening to Grandma Ann & Miss Donna read! :)

Day 30: Vacation TIME! We headed to Florida today! Here are Aunty Kassy, Grandma Hoppe, Trev, Kaylee & I in the van heading to the airport! I also have a photo of Grandma Hoppe and Kaylee on the airplane! And after we got to our house - it was like 10:30p and of course we all had to go swimming!

Day 31: Today was a relaxing day - we did a lot of swimming and a lot of grocery shopping trying to get all the food we'd need for the week - we filled up like 2 grocery carts! Of course I forgot to take a picture of that - so only got a portion of them still on the conveyor belt!

Day 32: Here we are at Universal studios! It rained on and off all day - which was kind of a bummer - but it sure made all the lines super short! We were able to just walk right on most of the rides - it was very nice (and def spoiled us for later in the week!)

Day 33: YEAH! Magic Kingdom! :) Here is the whole group in front of Cinderella's Castle! The kids really had a good time here - the whole park is definitely aimed for more of the younger kid crowd! It was busier than Universal - but the wait time for Space Mtn was only 5 min! Which basically meant we walked right on - at least 2 times! It was great! (how in the world do you only pick one pic of the day?!? Thank goodness I scrap regularly too! We have lots of fun pics! Kaylee really got a kick out of meeting Minnie!)

Of course I have loads of pics - but I'm doing my best to pick just one a day! You'll have to wait till we get home to see the rest ;) Or maybe I'll put some up on my other blog or something.... Hope you're all enjoying the snowy-weather! :)

I figure it's been a few days - time to update you with some more pics! We've been busy around here getting ready for FLORIDA!!

I've decided I sometimes just need a little bit of help choosing a photo of the day - I have it narrowed down to 2-3, now it's your turn ;) Which photos should I use?

Day 25:
Pic 1: Our toyroom after having the Daniels' over for a lunch date! But hey - at least the rest of my house looked clean!!
Pic 2: Kaylee, Trevor and I playing Bingo - its almost a daily occurance - either Colors & Shapes Bingo or the Alphabet Bingo - and both kids do a great job of being the caller - it amazes me how much Kaylee knows!!

Day 26:
Pic 1: Kaylee loves her chocolate pudding! Know that's a face only a mom could love :)

Ok, here goes another week!! Do you think I should keep adding photos to this post, or create a new post everytime I add photos? Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Not sure what is easier to follow! :) Anyways, here are my pics!

Day 22: YEAH! Grandma Hoppe came for a quick visit! Grandma Hoppe came today to spend one night with us! Tom & I got another night out (I could get used to this....too bad there's not a whole lot to do around here....LOL!) We went out to eat and then went ice skating & played cards out at Tom's parent's. Grandma Hoppe watched the kids (& made a mess out of the toy room!! LOL) ...oops...major red eyes! :S

Day 23: Happy Birthday Peyton! Today is Peyton's 3rd birthday so we went to his house for his birthday party! This kid has been obsessed with Santa for over a year now and he wanted a "Ho Ho" Party - and his mom gave him one! (Check out his cute little Santa outfit he wore!) Good thing his birthday is so close to Christmas!

Day 24: Kaylee & Trevor LOVE Uncle John!! They're always so excited when he comes "home" for the weekend! I still have to decide on which photo to use (I'm doing my best at only choosing ONE per day....but its hard sometimes!) The 1st photo is UJ reading books to the kids on the couch & the second is UJ and the kids making a snowman in the sticky sticky snow we got today!

Ok - HELP please - I'm struggling choosing just one (maybe 2) photos a day! It's hard when we go somewhere special or do something different to just narrow down the photos! Please comment and let me know which photos you think I should use! THANKS!!

Day 15: We headed to Paula & Aaron's today to spend the weekend with them! We're very excited! We left after Tom got off of work and ate some sandwiches in the car on the way! When we arrived the kids got a special treat of freezee's for their bedtime snacks! (have a photo of this - but not uploaded yet).

Day 16: Aaron had to work this morning, but the rest of us spent some good time outside enjoying the beautiful winter weather!! The first photo captures Tom narrowly blocking a big snowball thrown by Trevor! Nice shot Trev! The second photo shows Trevor, Kaylee & Paula playing "King of the Hill". The 3rd photo is of Kaylee making her snow angel. We then went tubing after Mass Saturday night - but we also went tubing on Sunday so I wanted a different picture - but I had to include it cuz it's pretty cute!

Day 17: We started the day with shaped pancakes made by Tom & Aaron - of course they got the "Mickey Mouse" pancakes in anticipation of our upcoming trip to Florida!! (photos 1 and 2) We then went tubing again at the hill at the fairgrounds. Yes, all four of us actually did go down the hill at one time!! (3rd photo). The 4th photo is Trevor's first time sliding down the hill "penguin style" - no sled! It was pretty hilarious to watch (we got some good videos too). I can't believe he was brave enough to try this! He'd then walk all the way back up all by himself! He's getting so big! The 5th photo is a good one of Tom & Kaylee - preparing to go down on the saucer - which Bug insisted on trying!!

Day 18: So this is supposed to be about showing a typical day right - realistic as it may be? Well I took a few photos at Kaylee's check-up today - and she was in FINE 2-YO DRAMA QUEEN form! So I thought this photo showed it off (and showed off the shirt she was wearing - maybe she's getting a complex and shouldnt wear that shirt anymore....LOL) I had other ones where she actually looks cute - but thought this described our day better - she threw at least 5 different temper tantrums today! Grrr!

We also had the Brady's over for supper! We really should get back into the habit of hanging out with them more often - it feels like forever since we've gotten to do something with them!

Day 19: Today was another busy day (what a week we're having!) We dropped Trevor off at school, then Kaylee and I went grocery shopping, and then to playgroup at McDonald's. Here is a pic of Kaylee with Peyton eating snack. We then picked up Trevor and had a lunch-date with some new friends from Trevor's school! It was fun!

Day 20: Busy busy again! Today we dropped Trevor off, went to Mass & then to a Mom's group at our church - it was fun to go again - I hadn't gone in MONTHS! Another exciting thing was a fun package the kids got in the mail - some hand-made felted slippers! How fun are these!?!? Vickey did an awesome job making them - unfortunately Kaylee's are a bit too small on her - she says they squish her feet - so she had fun using them as puppets instead!! Vickey - is there anyway to stretch them a bit? They are soooooo cute!

Day 21: A fairly typical Thursday - Trent & Ann took the kids out to eat at High View & Tom and I got to have a night to ourselves! :) Of course we went to Wal-mart - not sure why but we usually end up there if we don't have the kids! LOL! Then we enjoyed a winter walk - it was a bit windy - but if felt good to get some exercise. Here we are out in the cool air - gotta love self-portraits!!

Ok, so here goes another week! Here are the photos I have so far!

Day 8: Happy Friday! On Fridays we go to the Coffee Shop with Grandma Ann and then go to the library (and attend story-time - but they didn't have storytime this week - they're still off on break!). Here is Kaylee at the coffee shop looking oh so grown up! What a ham!

Day 9: Today we had to go to the Verizon store and try to get our bill figured out. While Dad & Grandpa Trent did that Mom & Grandma Ann took the kids to the mall. Of course we had to stop and let the kids play! They are so cute when they want to be!

Day 10: Kaylee wanted to go to Sunday School today during Mass - and at first Trevor didn't want to go - but once Kaylee was going - he was in! They made little crosses that said "Baptism" (to go along with the readings today) using those great foam cutouts that are pre-stickied! The kids love them!! In the photo is Kaylee, Alexa (a friend from summer ball - her dad plays on Tom & I's softball team) & Trevor

Day 11: Aahhh! There's nothing like a clean living room!! I spent a good portion of today rearranging my Living Room and cleaning up and organizing the toy room (still a lot of work needed in that room!!) But I like the way the living room looks - not quite so disastrous!!

Day 12: Trevor and Kaylee playing with the keyboard from Aunty Kassy. Just another reminder of why its nice to have a toy room - less noise in the rest of the house! ;)

Day 13: Say Cheese!! Trevor received some Happy Joe’s coupons from school for reading so many books a month - so tonight we went out for pizza for supper. The kids (& Dad)enjoyed the games!

Day 14: Today Savannah, Peyton & Amber came over for lunch after the kids got out of school. They sure did enjoy their time together - we just don’t get to see them as much anymore now that Trevor & Savannah are in school!

Ok - Here goes nothing! Here are my first 7 days for P365....we'll see how long I can keep this up ;)

Day 1: (2 photos - I couldn't choose just one!! LOL) Happy New Year's! We spent New Year's Day with Paula and Aaron. After the kids went to bed we had a good time hanging out as "adults"! LOL

Day 2: The Martfeld's also came to visit us over the long weekend. Here is a photo of our adorable Godson Aiden - I think he looks like his godmother! ;) (grrrr....remind me to edit this photo before I scrap it! I dont like the red blob thing behind his ear! DISTRACTING!!)

Day 3: All 4 kids on the couch. I wanted to get a pic quick of the 4 kiddos on the couch before the Martfeld's had to leave! :( They are a fun bunch of kids - it's great to see them all get along so well! I love watching them all play together! (I also have a photo of Trevor driving the Kitty Kat for the 1st time - I just have to get it off the camera - so this day will have 2 photos as well!)

Day 4: Trevor loves to play Wii! Today he was playing Wii Sports and was doing one of the bowling training games. I took this photo after he got a strike (I tell ya, he's a better bowler than me!). And of course as soon as I took this photo - he bowled a second strike - but he didn't think he needed any more photos!

Day 5: We had a slumber party with Alexandra last night - her mom had to go in for a check-up (the potential of her new baby brother or sister coming was EXCITING!) All three kids slept in the same room and slept GREAT! Here they are in the morning in our bed watching cartoons while I got ready. We can't wait to have another slumber party (and hopefully to meet the new baby sometime soon!)

Day 6: Cute 'little' Kaylee Bug! Here she is in her matching outfit for her doll - made by Grandma! Aren't they cute?

Day 7: Today Kaylee and I went to M&M's playgroup while Trevor was at Pre-school. After we picked Trevor up from school we met a bunch of the other mom's and kids from playgroup at McDonald's for lunch! It was chaotic but the kids all had a great time! Here is a photo of Trevor & Sienna eating lunch together - they get along so nice! Aren't they cute?
(WHOO HOO got my pics off my cell phone - didn't turn out too bad considering!)

I also want to thank Miss Erin for the use of her fun template for showing off my P365 photos! Isn't it cute!?!

Project 365 - Here I come!

I've decided to attempt the P365 again this year - I had started last year - but them my EHD crashed and I lost 2 1/2 months worth of my photos (and no, I'm not over it yet.....) So I quit - figured I'd start again this year. So here I go - this year I hope to stay on top of it a bit more (and I REALLY hope that my EHD doesn't crash! EEK!)

So follow along as I take a photo a day and scrap it in a book - it'll be a little taste of our day-to-day lives! Enjoy!! :)
